Traditional villages tours

Handicraft villages are an exciting point of culture that can not be missed during the travelers’ discovery of Vietnamese culture. This trip will enable the tourists to have a good look at and experience various handicraft villages from the pottery village of Bat Trang, the traditional painting village of Dong Ho to the rattan-knitting village of Phu Vinh.
In the morning, ODC Travel’s tour guide and driver will pick you up at the hotel around 7:30 – 8:00 to start a spectacular trip to the most famous traditional villages in Vietnam. The first stop is the pottery village of Bat Trang to see how the beautiful ceramic products are made. Continue to Dong Ho, famous for its wooden paintings. Local lunch in Dong Ho.
Afternoon tour to the wood - carving village of Dong Ky and the rattan - knitting village of Phu Vinh. Drop off at your hotel at the end of the day.

Morning:
07:30 ODC Travel’s tour guide and driver will pick up at your hotel and transfer to gathering point to, warning up and correcting bikes.
- 08:00 Escape from the city, ride on the dike of Red river. The first stop-over is Chem Communal house where dedicated to the Chem Saint is considered one of the most ancient communal houses in Vietnam. A short break at Trung Chau Temple before riding through country lane with rice fields on both sides to visit Tay Phuong Pagoda which is famous for statues of 18 arhats and other 80 statues.
11:30 Have lunch and relax time at the pagoda.
Afternoon:
13:00 Continue to visit Thay pagoda which was built in the Ly Nhan Tong Dynasty (1072-1127) where was resided by the monk Tu Dao Hanh. This was the home of the art of water puppetry. The pagoda has a large relic complex of high artistic and architecture values with wonderful landscape.
Ride back to Hanoi with a stop at Son Dong carving statue village. Drop off at your hotel.

Perfume Pagoda

Summary
The Perfume Pagoda is one of the highlights of the Hanoi area and one of the most important religious sites in Buddhist Vietnam. Every spring, after the Vietnamese New Year, thousands of Vietnamese pilgrims come here to pray for all the health and prosperity they need to get them through the year.  The pagoda itself is situated in a huge cave built into limestone cliffs and can only be reached by boat as there are no roads. You glide along scenic waterways and walk up steep mountain paths, visiting the pagodas and temples built in this area over the centuries.

After this we walk to the Thien Tru Pagoda (Heaven’s Kitchen) and the Perfume Cave and Pagoda - an hours walk in total. On our way back we visit Giai Oan and Tuyet Son Pagodas. Lunch will be at one of the little food stalls near Thien Tru Pagoda. After lunch the boat will take us back to our bus for the drive back to Hanoi.  We arrive in Hanoi around 18.30.

During this tour, we will visit the most famous of all the temples on the plain of Angkor is Angkor Wat. The temple complex covers 81 hectares and is comparable in size to the Imperial Palace in Beijing. Its distinctive five towers are emblazoned on the Cambodian flag and the 12th century masterpiece is considered by art historians to be the prime example of classical Khmer art and architecture.

Lunch at a local restaurant. Afternoon continue visiting the antique capital of Angkor Thom (12th century): See the South Gate, Bayon temple, the Elephants Terrace, the Terrace of the Leper King and Ta Prohm.  The final stop is a beautiful jungle temple that has been relatively untouched since it was discovered and retains much of its mystery. Transfer back to your hotel.
